Is OctoLearn iPad only?
Yes, for now. OctoLearn is available on the App Store for iPad. Parents use the web dashboard at kids.aiwize.com/app from any browser. An Android version is planned.
What ages is OctoLearn for?
OctoLearn is designed for kids aged 6–12. Parents choose a filtering level (strict, moderate, or relaxed) that fits their child.
What data does OctoLearn collect about my child?
Only what is needed to run the service: the child’s profile (first name or nickname, age range, interests), browsing and AI-chat activity shown in your dashboard, and pairing data. We never sell data or show ads. We are COPPA-compliant; see our Privacy Policy for the full list of sub-processors.
Is it really free? Will it cost money later?
OctoLearn is free during early access — every feature, no credit card. If we introduce paid plans later, early-access families will be told well in advance and there will always be a free tier.
When is the Android version coming?
Android is on our roadmap but there is no release date yet. Follow updates from the support page or email [email protected] and we will let you know.
How is the AI kept safe for kids?
Octobrain runs on a child-tuned model with strict content rules, searches only within curated, age-appropriate sources, and applies your chosen filtering level (20 content categories plus allow/block lists). Parents see every question and answer in the weekly summary and the dashboard.
